The Rules
The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/things/hates about yourself" and people who get tagged MUST write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things/hates as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" in their dev page comments and tell them to read yours...
1. If I can see the volume number on something (like my mp3 player), the number has to be either an even number, or a multiple of five. I get antsy and end up changing it soon after if it isn't.
2. As Dutch is my 'second language' (I took five years of French in high school, but I'm pretty darn rusty, so it's been demoted to kindasorta third), I have a bad habit of mixing Dutch and English together. Doing so creates very odd sentences, because I sometimes just shove English or Dutch words into my sentences. "Sweetie, could you get ketchup van de koelkast?" "Dear mevrouw".. etc
3. A habit I picked up from my Dad, I will very happily start giving a 'lecture' of sorts on the subjects that interest me. Mainly history. Unlike my Dad, I'll only start giving a lecture like that when it comes up more naturally in conversation.
4. I have very eclectic music tastes. My music tastes include just about a little bit of everything. Apparently, this can be disconcerting when I put on my play list, because you can hear musicals followed by heavy metal, to 40s, to classical, to foreign (Japanese or others) to .. any number of things. The fact that I can usually name the song and sing along with little to no problem seems to surprise my boyfriend.
5. In addition to using Dutch in my language, I have a pretty expansive English vocabulary which includes some more.. antiquated words. (If anyone doubts I actually talk how I type, you need only have a conversation with me.
6. Leave me alone long enough, bored enough, and I will start dancing. I will also start making random noise to go with it. I am a total geek. I'm aware of this.
Now, I tag
